Submissions

The gallery is located on the first floor and has two main rooms

1.  12' x 12': 9' from hanging system to baseboard;

There are 3 walls for hanging: *1 - 9' full length; *1 - 3' space left side of bi-fold doors;

*1 - 35" space between windows; *4th window wall can be used for a display table.

2.   12' x 15':  there are 4 half walls for hanging: 

*3' space on left side of bi-fold the left side/38" space on the right side;  

*12' space opposite bi-fold doors;

*47" space between windows;

*13' space opposite window wall.   

​

3. The Entry Hallway (exposed brick) also has wall space for hanging artwork.   

 

*There is an additional 12' x 14' room in the back available for installations.   

​

*In warm weather, the front porch entry is perfect for a refreshments table or for displaying items for sale. 

Folding tables are availabe for display.

*Additional reception space on the 2nd floor is available for small events - up to 25 people.

The Hanging System​

The gallery's heavy duty picture rail system (STAS) can hold 199lbs per 6 feet.  

There are 47 single cords and hooks that can hold up to 33lbs each.   

We have special hooks for hanging quilts.

The gallery does not include framing your artwork.

For the best presentation, framed artwork must have

"eyes" or a D-ring  on the sides of the frame with a taught wire between them positioned  

OR

saw-tooth hangers

Either/or must  be positioned approx 2" to 3" down the back of the frame

For unframed paper prints, we offer plastic poster strips for a small additional charge.

​Rates

Solo Show:  $75 per week/2 week minimum

Group Show:  $50/pp/2 week minimum

Commission:  10% of each painting, print and piece sold.

Photo Shoots: $100 per shoot

The gallery and artist(s) agree to work cooperatively in curating each art exhbit

including the proper placement and hanging and/or display of artworks selected.

Extras

Folding chair rental:  30 chairs for 2 weeks with delivery:  $113 - The Juneberry Tree Gallery will pay 1/3.

Coat Rack - $24

$75 (Totally Optional!) for refreshments for opening and/or closing event includes food and paper goods if the gallery buys the goods;  no charge if the artist brings their own goods - food must have reliable kosher certificaiton.

​Publicity

Artists can create their own ads or our ad designer can make one up.  We suggest using social media and your contacts to publicize each show and any other outlets each artist prefers; the gallery will also publicize the event using its list of contacts, etc. 

The gallery will also post on local Crown Heights' on-line community calendars and will draft a review for  posting (included in rental fee)
